Misha leads the team responsible for the development and issuance of auditing and assurance standards for New Zealand, supporting confidence in the quality and consistency of assurance engagements across the reporting framework.

Misha has vast experience in audit and assurance standard‑setting. Misha is the technical advisor to the New Zealand member of the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board.

Prior to joining the XRB, Misha worked at KPMG in New Zealand and South Africa, providing assurance and technical advisory services with a focus on IFRS implementation and interpretation. She brings deep technical expertise, international insight, and strong institutional knowledge to her role, supporting the ongoing alignment of New Zealand’s auditing and assurance standards that are internationally aligned and locally relevant.

Misha is a Chartered Accountant.
