The International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) has released revisions to the non-assurance services (NAS) provisions of the Code, which the XRB intends to adopt in New Zealand.

In addition to the international provisions, the XRB is proposing a number of New Zealand changes including a stricter prohibition on the provision of tax advisory and tax planning services to an audit client that is a public interest entity.
